I admire her coming forth but I think she comes off as a key player advising up to the President about hiring, firing, and strategizing. This seems a bit much for someone in their early 20’s. I saw a headline somewhere – Cassidy and the Boys. Yep, she renders them utter fools who needed her guidance. Only 1/3 of the way through and hard pressed to continue.

I tried giving her the benefit of doubt but I found a whole lot of inconsistencies and claims that shes going to have to prove, Trump and others mentioned in this book should be seeking legal action to take the profits away from this opportunist.

Anyone can tell a story. She was chosen to discredit anyone with questions about the 2020 election. Yes she was there but the situation could not have happened that way.

Sad to see a fictional book like this taken as a serious novel. Clown world.

Has as much validity as calling January 6th an insurrection when it was an unarmed scuffle mixed with a tour of the capital with the only death being an unarmed woman getting shot.
I just watched her promote her book on The View, clearly an ingratiating non-challenging interview.

Everything in this book is a complete lie. You don’t have to be a genius to see that. Pathetic

2.0 out of 5 stars I used to respect Cassidy Hutchinson
Reviewed in the United States on September 27, 2023
I classify myself as a moderate with a conservative tilt, and when I first watched Ms. Hutchinson testify in the Committee hearings I had much respect for her coming forward and showing courage and honesty.
After wading (and I admit skimming some parts) through this book, I have to sadly say I find her to be nothing more than a self serving, starstruck individual that was willing to hew the party line and do whatever was deemed necessary to secure her position of privilege, and keep rubbing shoulders with the powerful. Her constant use of first names (“Look who I know!”) was pretty tiring after awhile.
I am grateful she finally came to her senses, even if it was after initially playing along with what Trump World wanted in her initial interviews with Committee staff. I will admit that her testimony just may help save this country in the long run, but to me at least it appears she told the truth out of heightened sense of self preservation rather than patriotism.
So, best wishes to Cassidy, and I hope she’s learned a lesson to stay out of politics at any level from now on.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not What I Hoped For
Reviewed in the United States on September 27, 2023
Most of this book is an autobiography, which I skipped. I don’t need to know about her high school days. I was hoping to learn more about what was in the heads of Trumps enablers. But it’s mostly Cassidy’s emotions during it. A thumbs down on this book.
