Retired Army Brigadier General Don Bolduc, who’s a Republican candidate for U.S. Senator, was my guest for this episode — my 50th — of ‘Frankly Speaking’. This interview took place in the Access Nashua studio on Aug. 10, 2020.

Among the issues we discussed included: What his opinion was of President Trump’s handling of the Coronavirus? Is the economy on the right track to make a full recovery from the National Pandemic? Should President Trump supersede the Mayors and Governors in major U.S. cities with National Guard troops to remedy the constant Rioting and Looting problems? What his thoughts were on Mr. and Mrs. McCloskey in St. Louis for defending their home when approached by Rioters and then having their guns seized the following day? Was he aware of the reason incumbent Democratic U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen voted to impeach President Donald Trump from office? With the two major candidates running for President being 70-something, would he be in favor of pushing a Law for a maximum age requirement of running for President? In 2016, there was apparently a Voter Fraud problem regarding Out-of-State college students voting both in New Hampshire, as well as their home States — Has this situation been remedied in the past four years? How does he feel about Mail-in ballots? Do Big Tech companies like, Google, Facebook, and Twitter need to be legally regulated by the government? And, militarily speaking, is China the biggest threat to the United States?

Bolduc is facing a challenge in the Sept. 8th NH Republican Primary election for the U.S. Senate race. If successful, Bolduc will face incumbent Democrat Senator Shaheen in the regular election on Tuesday, Nov. 3rd. Sleepy Joe Biden has spent the last 3-4 months ‘bunkered down’ in his basement due to National Pandemic.

Most politicians who are vying to get elected to office are expected to “work” for their votes, but Biden is allegedly leading Trump in the Presidential Polls by 10-15 points by mainly staying in Quarantine. A supposedly double-digit lead by just hanging around in his basement, per Doctors’ and Scientists’ orders.

At his press conference yesterday (his first one in 89 days), Biden kept referring to a paper he had in front of him to call on just certain reporters from certain media outlets, per his staff.

Even though he said he “can’t wait” to debate against Trump three times before the Election, does anyone honestly believe that Biden will go ahead and actually debate Trump in a face-to-face event? Especially if he still has a Double-Digit lead in the Polls? Maybe even blaming his absence on the Coronavirus, and claiming the Scientists and Doctors strongly advised him NOT to publicly debate?

Lastly, is this the type of individual America really wants in their next President? I tend to think not.

Pelosi's pens

(Maybe if we had started the ‘National Pandemic’ this past January 11th, there would probably be that many less Americans who died already from this Coronavirus. ALSO, if Trump had done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING on putting up any Border Wall between the USA & Mexico — How many more UNVETTED ILLEGAL ALIENS do you suppose would’ve infected healthy Americans with this deadly disease?

Coming this November 3rd, I think it’s High Time for the Democrats to start paying for their Sins! I supposed if there was a bright side to all this insanity, at least the Dem legislators all wound up with ‘free pens with Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s signature on them’.)

The timeline of the two developments — impeachment and coronavirus — is shocking, and reveals the true cost of hyper-partisanship:

🔷January 11: Chinese state media report the first known death from an illness originating in the Wuhan market.

🔷January 15: Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) holds a vote to send articles of impeachment to the Senate. Pelosi and House Democrats celebrate the “solemn” occasion with a signing ceremony, using commemorative pens.

🔷January 21: The first person with coronavirus arrives in the United States from China, where he had been in Wuhan.

🔷January 23: The House impeachment managers make their opening arguments for removing President Trump.

🔷January 23: China closes off the city of Wuhan completely to slow the spread of coronavirus to the rest of China.

🔷January 30: Senators begin asking two days of questions of both sides in the president’s impeachment trial.

🔷January 30: The World Health Organization declares a global health emergency as coronavirus continues to spread.

🔷January 31: The Senate holds a vote on whether to allow further witnesses and documents in the impeachment trial.

🔷January 31: President Trump declares a national health emergency and imposes a ban on travel to and from China. Former Vice President Joe Biden calls Trump’s decision “hysterical xenophobia … and fear-mongering.”

🔷February 2: The first death from coronavirus outside China is reported in the Philippines.

🔷February 3: House impeachment managers begin closing arguments, calling Trump a threat to national security.

🔷February 4: President Trump talks about coronavirus in his State of the Union address; Pelosi rips up every page.

🔷February 5: The Senate votes to acquit President Trump on both articles of impeachment, 52-48 and 53-47.

🔷February 5: House Democrats finally take up coronavirus in the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Asia.
